These two seem to be incompatible with each other, don’t they? However, marriages do work between opposites! My husband and I are proof of that!! Lol. ❤
But, can prudence, meaning frugal and economical, really dwell together harmoniously with a free spirit, whose very definition, in part, is foolish and imprudent?
The answer is a resounding YES!

Whenever I go into a “regular” store which sells “regular” clothing to “regular” customers, I look at the racks and think boring! (with a few exceptions, sometimes).
Of course, a few specialty shops…those pursuing the young, fashion-seeking crowd, have more inspiring garb.
Ya know, I never have fathomed why it is that women, as they journey down the road of life, dress themselves in less and less attractive apparel! ???
Why is that?!
But, besides that, why pay the mall-store prices when you can find clean-and-in-good-condition potential projects (and even ready-to-wear items) for pennies to the dollar at thrifts!
Thrifts are even becoming popular with the celebs!
Obviously, they can afford to shop wherever they want, but they actually CHOOSE to purchase in what might be called a “smart-shoppers salon.” Lol. 😀
Thrifts are more than about saving money:
They “specialize” in unusual components for building an individual look.
Why be “regular?”
Every one of us is “fearfully and wonderfully made (Ps. 139)!”
In other words, each of us is a one and only. 🙂
Celebrate your uniqueness in the way you dress! 😀
…and, in the meantime, save money!
